There's this amazing store by my house that just opened. All they have are accessories, hence why the store is called XSRE. Get it haha! I went looking for an off white bandeau, which they didn't have, and ended up walking out with a bunch of jewelry I don't need but couldn't resist.

Vermont...Here We Come!

Every year since I was 5 my parents and I have gone to a resort in Vermont. We always have so much fun while were there (lots of tanning, golf, eating, and r&r) but the packing part is soooo difficult. During the day it's super casual but at night it's fancy, and to add insult to injury the weather in Vermont at this time of year is unpredictable. We've been up there when it's in the 90s and we've been up there when it's in the 60s so I have to bring a little bit of everything. I have waaaaaaaay too many clothes also which makes everything even harder. But I am excited because I got the hottest dress for my birthday and haven't had any where else to wear it until now. (I'll post pictures when I wear it again.)

I'm super excited though for this year because this is Abbi's first summer in Vermont. Abbi loves the water so I'm hoping that she'll go swimming in the lake with us. BUT Abbi is terrified of cars and gets car sick, so the four hour ride up to Vermont should be fun. Thank goodness I'll be driving.

Abbi is my little princess. We adopted her from a shelter on Long Island in November after our 4 year old Min Pin died suddenly. We think she's German Shepherd but we can't tell what else she is. Everyone thinks beagle because she kind of looks like it, but she doesn't have the personality of a beagle at all. We know jack squat about her except that we adopted her from a shelter that saved her from another shelter somewhere down south. We named her Abbi because of the scene in Young Frankenstein where Igor tells Dr. Frankenstein that he got a brain from Abby..Abby who?...Abbi Normal (If you've seen the movie you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't seen it...go rent it this weekend. Best Movie! Mel brooks...how can you go wrong?)

Wish the boyfriend was coming with me though :(

Forget school days...try school years!

So...I went away to school my freshman year then came home to my community college for the past two years. I had orientation today for hopefully my final school. Apparently I am no longer on the four or five year plan...I've moved on to the ten year plan.

My boyfriend took me to orientation and when I got into the car he had 3 roses for me. Made me so happy :)

BTW... No outfits for the next few days. I got the keratin redone yesterday and my hair is FLAT and unattractive.

Dinner & Movie

My dad was away this weekend so my mom and I hung out Friday and Saturday. We went to dinner and a movie together Friday night. It was actually a lot of fun. We saw Crazy Stupid Love, definitely a must see movie. I was laughing so hard I cried a little.

Good Ol' Seersucker

I have been waiting to put up my first post and figured this would be the perfect outfit to start off with. I went out to the bars with my friends last night and figured this was the perfect casual outfit for a cooler night. I had also been looking for these sandals in cork for a long time and finally found them a couple days ago, so I needed an outfit to match them.
